Owner Guidelines – RentMy

When using the platform:

Be kind and respectful to other users and when liaising with item owners be clear and prompt with your replies
Be kind and respectful when talking to the RentMy team, abuse of our team members will not be tolerated

When renting an item:

Make sure the item you give the renter is the one photographed and described in your listing
Follow any steps needed in the Guarantee to ensure you're covered
Take photos and videos of your item/handover: aside from liking to see how much fun you've had, we will need any photos as proof should a claim arise - you will always be prompted to take a photo during the handover collection and return process too
Ensure you confirm the handover and return well in advance

Please note that failure to comply with our Terms of Service may result in a formal warning, temporary suspension from the platform, or permanent account removal.
