Renter Guidelines – RentMy

Be kind and respectful to other users and when liaising with item owners be clear and prompt with your replies
Be kind and respectful when talking to the RentMy team, abuse of our team members will not be tolerated

When renting an item:

Be sure to confirm handover and return details with the item owner well in advance
Take photos and videos of your rental: aside from liking to see how much fun you've had, we will need any photos as proof should a claim arise - you will always be prompted to take a photo during the handover collection and return process too
Make sure you know how to use the item correctly - ask the owner, have a Google or watch some videos on YouTube to ensure you are able to safely use it
Look after the item as if it was your own - the old adage of treat others as you wish to be treated applies here - if you were renting your item to someone you'd want them to take care of it, so please do the same!
When taking the item back to it's owner, make sure you've got everything it came with - any bags, packaging or accessories should be returned too

Please note that failure to comply with our Terms of Service may result in a formal warning, temporary suspension from the platform, or permanent account removal.
